When we launched 5 Squirrels Ltd, our mission was clear: build a company that puts people firs not just in principle, but in practice. We believed that if we could create a workplace where talent is nurtured, voices are genuinely heard, and purpose is shared, we could do something different—something better.
Fast forward to 2025, and we’re proud to say that vision has been recognised once again. For the second time, we’ve been named one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
This is more than just an award. It’s a reflection of our team and the culture we’ve built together. It’s a moment of pride, but more importantly, it’s a reminder that culture isn’t a one-time project. It’s a daily decision, owned by every individual at 5 Squirrels.
What Makes 5 Squirrels a Best Place to Work?
We’ve always said, “If it doesn’t feel like the best place to work, it probably isn’t.” So how do we make that feeling real every day?
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I)
We believe that diversity drives innovation and belonging fuels growth. From inclusive hiring practices to open conversations that amplify every voice, we strive to ensure that progress starts from within.
Work-Life Balance
We don’t view flexibility as a bonus—it’s a core part of how we work. With mental health support, remote working options, and a culture that respects boundaries, we prioritise sustainable success.
Smarter Ways of Working
We embrace agile methods, innovation, and continuous learning. Productivity isn’t measured in hours—it’s measured in impact. We encourage every team member to work in ways that deliver real value. This allows us to stay focussed to enable all team members to achieve success and only need to work 4-days per week, the entire team has a 3-day weekend, every weekend!!
A Shared Achievement
To our incredible team: this recognition is yours. Without the incredible people who work here who show up each day committed to improving, collaborating, and making this company thrive.
We’re proud of our team, and proud to be recognised as a Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 winner.
