National Business Development Executive

Based Brighton with travel.  £30,000+ uncapped bonus

5 Squirrels is a boutique agency based in Brighton’s Kemp Town a stone’s throw from the beach and the wide selection of unique café’s and shops that make Brighton so special.

The company was formed in 2014 and consists of a small team of designers and commercial employees, who work closely together both in the office and across the UK and abroad.

The company develops, designs and supports healthcare professionals who work in aesthetic medicine to launch and grow their own brand anti-ageing skincare products.

Our clients are high profile international Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists and medics who have very particular design requirements regarding their skincare brand appearance and supporting promotional assets.

5 Squirrels has launched more than 250 international brands all of whom have seen rapid growth since they went to market. We currently offer a range of 16 clinically proven products with multiple new products coming to market in 2020.

You’ll be:

  • Converting cold and warm B2B sales opportunities.

  • Working on business strategy to develop and close both new and existing business.

  • Building deep relationships with customers, understanding their business goals and supporting them with their business planning objectives.

  • Creating and executing tactical and promotional plans.

  • Travelling nationally and internationally.

  • Growing the business, recruiting and developing a team within 12 months.

  • Ideally, responsible for the commercial function of the company within 24 months.

  • Reporting directly to the company founders.


You’ll need:

  • An immaculate record of sales achievement and career progression in B2B.

  • Experienced in account management as well as closing new business.

  • The ability to create and execute tactical promotional plans is vital.

  • Experience in medical aesthetics, beauty therapy or clinic management is an advantage.

  • Understanding of skincare, products and the science behind it desirable.

  • Skills to manage conflicting and changing priorities, your time and excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience of online communication e.g. Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey and Social Media platforms

  • Ability to manage and maintain excellent external and internal working relationships – we need a team player.

  • Be intelligent to problem solve with agile creativity to wow customers!
