Business Development Executive

Job Summary
You will be the source of our growth, responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities from scratch. Your primary focus will be on new business generation through a variety of methods, including cold calling, lead generation, and networking. The ideal candidate will be eager to build a pipeline and bring in clients from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential new business leads and target markets.

Client Recruitment & Outreach: Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, and other direct outreach methods to introduce our services and qualify opportunities. In addition to, Networking – online and in person, desk top research, social media engagement and direct mail marketing.

Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.

Client Acquisition: Drive the entire sales cycle for new accounts, from the first conversation to a signed partnership.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve new business targets and revenue goals.

Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and account management teams to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.

Planning: Forecasting and predicting sales.

Commercial Mindset: Being aware of key customers, growth targets, figures, and other business-critical information.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven Sales Track Record: A track record of successfully acquiring new clients, ideally in the medical aesthetics or related industry.

Medical Aesthetics Experience: You have specific, proven experience within the medical aesthetics industry.

A "Closing" Mentality: You must be self-motivated, persistent, and thrive on the challenge of cold calling and generating your own leads.

Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.

Strong Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating and closing deals.

Independent & Accountable: The ability to work autonomously, manage your own time, and take full ownership of your targets.

Tech Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft 365 and a general comfort with digital tools for tracking and managing your pipeline.

The role also requires travel for networking and client meetings.

Targets & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

New Revenue: Achieve quarterly and annual new business revenue targets.

Client Acquisition: Consistently bring on new clients and exceed acquisition goals.

Pipeline Growth: Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline to ensure future success.

Conversion Rate: Improve conversion rates from lead to closed business.

The Reward

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year, based on experience.

Commission: A competitive uncapped commission structure to reward your sales performance.

Pension: Workplace pension contribution.

Annual Leave: 5 weeks of annual leave, plus bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday.

Four-Day Work Week: We are a four-day week company. After your probationary period, you can work 80% of the hours for 100% of your salary by meeting 100% of your productivity targets. This means you'll work Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5pm, with Fridays off.
